HURD SALTWATER? SUPERCASTER INFO NEEDED

I'm looking for some info and verification on a Hurd reel. I was told if the Hurd stamping is on the left side away from the crank, it is a saltwater reel. The serial number is A 95600. Any ideas if this is so or on rarity, value?

Hi Jeff, It is my understanding that the salt water Hurd super caster is all black and very difficult to find. I am not aware of any saltwater versions in any other colour.
