I picked up this lucky 13 that had been modified with glitter glue. I thought: What can I use on this plastic lure? I remembered someone saying sudsy ammonia is good for restoring old wooden repaints. I thought that might be too strong for soaking a plastic lure. So I thought what about Windex? It has ammonia in it! So I soaked it for day. Here is the results. I hope this may help restore a few more plastic lures in the future. I haven't tried it on rubber skirt tails stuck to plastic lures yet. But I bet it will work on them too. Share your thoughts.
