The National Fishing Lure Collectors Club (NFLCC) is a non-profit, educational, international organization founded in 1976. The primary objectives of the NFLCC are to foster an awareness of fishing tackle collecting as a hobby and to assist members in the location, identification, and trading of vintage fishing-related equipment.
Bulletin Board
This bulletin board is provided as a public forum for announcements, messages, questions, chat or almost anything else you can think of related to antique fishing tackle. Inappropriate messages will be deleted. First and Last Name is required from all posters, and we recommend that you put your e-mail address in the message area so that people may contact you.

After announcing his desire to seek a second term as NFLCC President, and having received no other nominations from the general membership, Stuart Strange is happy to accept a second term as NFLCC President. Since he is running unopposed, there is no need to hold an election in the spring. His term will continue for two more years, through June 2019. Additionally, I have agreed to stay on in the position of Secretary/Treasurer throughout his next term. Please join me in thanking Stuart for his contributions to the success of the club, and wish him well in the upcoming years. Thank you, Sandy Schottenham, NFLCC Secretary/Treasurer |

We need to spread this news.............and there was no where near as much mud slinging as the US Presidential race.....how did you guys do it so easily?? Ahhhhh maybe you are just both great people. Glad to hear it, congrats to both of you and thanks for all of your hard work! Bill |

Thanks Sandy! It's been a blast so far, and we've still got a lot of work ahead of us over the next 2 1/2 years. I'm so pleased with the publications underneath Dudley Murphy and Gary Smith's direction. 9 of the last 10 votes by the Board has passed almost unanimously. We're close to locking down the 2018 Nationals location. Hint - it may be coming back East to an area that we haven't been in over 22 years. We're going to need some excellent Show Hosts to volunteer to make it happen. I'm thrilled that we've added a discounted membership for disabled Veterans and for the first time ever we will begin offering the multi-year membership in 2017. We've successfully added an affiliate membership for MiniCo Insurance company which offers our club members an easy and cost effective solution for insuring their collections. We've had a revamp of our Survivorship Program that falls under John Collen's direction. Phase 2 of the NFLCC website is in the works under Scott Jedd's direction, and 2017 will have more emphasis placed on our NFLCC Club Shop under Ray Carver's direction with new merchandise offerings for our membership. Lastly, if you've read in the Gazette, the NFLCC is now accepting donations from our members, and we're excited to announce that we've been given $500 in inheritance, a brand new video projector, and most recently, the donation of a free trip to the 2017 Nationals. Details on the $1,000 Nationals trip will be posted here, the NFLCC Facebook page, and March Gazette in 2017. Thanks for reading! |
